Council's purposes include enlisting individuals and institutions to support IISTD, and pursue Islamization through their efforts and in cooperation with IISTD. Two new Members are:

1) Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdullah al-Awadi, President, IOMS/ Islamic Organization for

Medical Sciences, PO Box 31280, Al-Salibikhat, 90803 Kuwait. IOMS promotes

Islamic medicine through conferences; publications; etc. Dr. Al-Awadi joined IISTD-

CAP in April 1998 after meeting in Kuwait with IISTD President.

2) Imam Warith Deen Mohammed, and "Mosque Project", P.O. Box 2777,

Country Club Hills, IL 60474. ( See Report below ).

Imam W. Deen Mohammad and "Mosque Project" joined IISTD-CAP on 29 October 1998 after a detailed meeting in Chicago with IISTD President. The Imam's efforts and success in spreading Islam among Afro-Americans in particular are unequalled. The "Ministry of W. Deen Mohammed" has a network of Islamic centers; the Clara Muhammad Schools; weekly Muslim Journal; Islamic out-reach programs; etc. Joint pursuit of IISTD Action Plan is under discussion.
